basepad × Dots
A dot uses the apps and connectors of your ChatGPT workspace. Add basepad there, then let your dot use it. Every token Dots launches from its basepad wallet shows up under Dots on the board.
In ChatGPT
- 1Settings, Apps & Connectors, then turn on developer mode (Advanced).
- 2Create a connector with the URL https://basepad.si/api/mcp and no authentication.
- 3Allow your dot to use the basepad connector.
- 4Ask your dot: "Create a basepad wallet for dots, then tell me the address to fund."
- 5Fund the wallet and ask the dot to launch. Review before it acts on its own.
OpenAI describes dots as working through ChatGPT's app ecosystem. Custom connectors depend on your plan and workspace settings.
Any other MCP client
basepad speaks standard MCP over Streamable HTTP. If Dots's setup above changes, any place that accepts a remote MCP server URL works:

Launch a token on basepad called <your name>, ticker <YOUR TICKER>, paired with ETH, starting at a $10,000 market cap. Show me the details before you send it.The agent shows you the wallet's private key and agent key once. Save both. Anyone with the private key controls the wallet. Keep small amounts in it.
